As Founder, President and CEO of Ascent Property Management, my personal mission is to create a Company culture that empowers our clients, tenants and professional staff to achieve their definition of success. I define success as living a balanced life while excelling in personal and professional endeavors. My passion beyond Ascent and its affiliated companies rests in the simple things; good food, family, travel… and, a good book.
Jessika Minczuk- Accountant
Jessika was born in Poland, and immigrated to the United States when she was two years old. She grew up in Chicago, where she attended Dominican University from 2013-2016. Jessika graduated from Dominican with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. With a change of scenery in mind, she moved out to San Diego at the end of 2016. Now with Ascent Property Management, Jessika manages all the accounting work, from trust fund activities, to generating monthly owner reports and processing owner distributions. She enjoys watching Basketball and is our seasonal interior decorator. Jessika has amazing organization skills, along with her Accounting expertise, making her an essential part to our team.
Jenna Hee- Customer Care/Leasing Specialist
Jenna was born and raised in Hawaii, then moved to the Midwest in 2010 for college. She attended Indiana University, where she earned her degree in Management in 2015. Shortly after, Jenna relocated to San Diego and worked in the service industry until finding her calling in property management. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, longboarding, kayaking, and video games. In July of 2017, Jenna joined Ascent Property Management where her customer service experienced shined turning her into our Customer Service/ Leasing Specialist. Using her years of experience in customer service, she strives to build and maintain positive relationships with both tenants and clients.
Amy Porter – General Manager
With nearly a decade of real estate knowledge and numerous years of operational experience, Amy delights in bringing innovation, resources, and solutions to Ascent’s property management team and those they serve. In her spare time Amy enjoys reading and boxing.
Lynne Villanueva-Leasing Agent
Lynne is proud to be a native San Diegan and grew up in Point Loma. She graduated from San Diego Mesa College with honors and earned her AS in Consumer and Nutrition Studies. Lynne has 26 years experience in sales and customer service and obtained her Real Estate License in 2006. After working as a buyer’s agent for 6 years, Lynne decided to take her passion for helping people find the right home as a leasing agent to Lee Mather Company in Coronado (now Ascent Property Management). When working with Lynne, you’ll experience great communication, customer service, and local knowledge leading to happy tenant and landlord relationships. Lynne especially enjoys being a mom, attending her son’s baseball games and assisting people with their nutrition/fitness goals.
Dustyn Evans – Maintenance Coordinator
Dustyn recently packed his life into three suitcases and hopped on a plane to sunny San Diego. He was born in San Diego but grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. His goal was always to come back and let’s face it… cold, snow and humidity get old quick!
Dustyn studied Special Education at the University of Southern Indiana. He also worked in Case Management for adults and children with developmental disabilities. Dustyn spends his free time running a non-profit called Project Reach that he developed with a couple of his best friends which hosts free sports camps for children with special needs.
Dustyn is very excited to be a part of the Ascent Property Management Team!
Ysela Siegfried – Property Manager
Ysela Siegfried is one of the newest members of Ascent Property Management. She was born and raised in Southern California. With more than 19 years of property management experience, Ysela has managed all types of residential properties, has strong administrative skills, a deep knowledge of contracts and property accounting. She is an organized, efficient professional who oversees each property in her portfolio with keen attention to detail and a focus on each clients best interest. In her spare time, she stays active with her husband, two daughters, and her dog Taz.
Eva Turney – Property Manager
Eva was born and raised in Poland. She left her home country in 1997 for NYC where she obtained her undergraduate BBA degree in Finance and Investments from Baruch College. After graduation she worked in sales at MetLife and HSBC Bank. In 2005 she started a construction business together with her father and that’s where her passion for real estate began. After 10 successful years in construction, her father retired from the business and Eva moved with her family to San Diego. She’s been working in property management ever since and is persuing a Masters Degree in Accounting with a focus on real estate transactions. In her free time she loves to play tennis, ski, work out and watch the sunset. Her favorite thing to do is traveling with her three children.
Elena Uncango – Assistant Property Associate
Elena is a San Diego native that loves all things nature and her free time consists of anything by or on the beach. Helping others has always been her biggest passion, so assisting the Property Managers as well as other associates comes naturally. Elena’s daily tasks range from answering resident requests, handling any issues that may come up regarding properties and tenants, directing inquiries to the appropriate person, etc.
Tammy Richter – Manager/Broker-Associate
Tammy came to San Diego at the age of 2 via San Antonio. She grew up in Escondido and Spring Valley at a time when it was okay to stay out until the street lights came on and there was an endless supply of trees to climb and creeks to muck around in. She was an accomplished synchronized swimmer for many years and gifted artist and singer. She started her career in real estate at Lee Mather Company as their office manager and found her niche in property management almost immediately. With over 13 years of property management experience and her broker’s license, she is thrilled to come to Ascent Property Management and share with her new team her no-nonsense approach to navigating the diverse and ever changing face of property ownership, property maintenance, and owner and tenant relations. She is the proud Mom of a talented young ceramic artist and chef, her son Arlo. Her free time is spent with her husband Peter maintaining their five acre mountain home in Julian with the help of their three dogs, Gracie, Violet, and Chester.
Julianne Ahumada – Administrative & Accounting Support
Julianne was raised in San Diego and grew up enjoying the beautiful weather and all this city has to offer. Being a border state, she always got to experience both sides of her culture. She has received associate degrees in both accounting and business administration and is still working towards a bachelors in both areas of study. Before joining Ascent Property Management in early 2018, she worked retail where she gained experience in customer service and administration. Being bilingual she can help both English and Spanish speakers and open communication with tenants.
Tonya Thomas – Leasing Specialist
With many years of property management and real estate experience, Tonya is a great Leasing Specialist and holds a Real Estate License. She is a San Diego native and know her city well. When Tonya is not working she loves to exercise, hike, and enjoy restaurants and specialty coffee shops around town.
